Perhaps you remember Microsofts ad campaign regarding with the fake newspaper “The highly reliable Times”. There was one version with the London Stock Exchange:

I think this one got back like a boomerang: Network failure halts London Stock Exchange trading. Even when it´s not Microsofts fault, this will stick, something like a collateral CNN moment …
