Internet Archive is moving to Solaris 10

There is an organisation building a large archive of Marjorys content? Marjory? I call the Internet that way, because that was the name of the all knowing trash heap in “Fraggle Rock. Well … the all-knowing trash heap will get a new infrastructure for the archive as the Computerworld reports in “Internet Archive to unveil massive Wayback Machine data center”:

According to an event invitation from Sun Microsystems Inc., the Internet Archive is moving from a traditional data center filled with standard Linux servers to one that runs Solaris 10 with ZFS on Sun Fire x4500s servers inside a Sun Modular Datacenter.
