Another open letter needed ...

After thinking a little bit about it: We need another open letter … this time to Sam Palmisano. Solaris and AIX should converge too … at last IBM is operating system agnostic, at least as long they can make money with it. And a bigger ecosystem would mean bigger opportunities to make money. And jettison AIX would mean less costs for playing catchup with Solaris. Even more profits.
