Today Sun and Fujitsu announced the the first new multiproc Victoria Falls systems: Sun Microsystems And Fujitsu Expand SPARC Enterprise Server Line With New UltraSPARC T2 Plus Processor-Based Systems. The benchmark results for this new system are really good:
The SPARC Enterprise T5240 server supported 4,170 SAP SD Benchmark users - a result more than double the 2,035 SAP SD Benchmark users achieved by the IBM p570 system with two POWER6 processors.
